A friend of mine has three children.
He has two boys and a little girl.
His little girl will be 4 in January and definitely is a daddy's girl!
Today he came in and shared a story with me about a conversation he had with them over the weekend. The kids wanted to know why he married their mom. He responded with a list of qualities that he saw in his wife .... "she is pretty", "she is funny" etc. etc.
As each child took turns sharing and it was finally his little girl's turn.
My friend, looked lovingly at his daughter and told her that she was funny.
His little girl looked at him and said with certainty and force
"I don't wanna be funny daddy.... I wanna be pretty!" -- hahaha
